Hello world! I’m Dr. Morgan Cornelius, a native of Oakland CA. I’m a proud Aggie from North Carolina A&T State University, home of the GREATEST Homecoming On Earth & attended veterinary school in Alabama. I’ve loved animals all my life, and before I wanted to be a veterinarian I wanted to be a paleontologist and study dinosaur bones.
I’ve worked with wildlife vets in South Africa, helped with marine research in the Caribbean, and was the volunteer vet at the Oakland Zoo. In 2019, I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise money for autism. I am a member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity & The National Association of Black Scuba Divers.
In the summer you can find me water boarding, and in the winter, flying on my snowboard. I’m training for a marathon in Antarctica which will be my last continent. I’m a huge track fan and the type of Dallas Cowboys fan that makes you hate all Cowboys fans. I have a Giant Schnauzer named Da$hing. I love mango Madness Snapple & Lays sour cream & onion chips, but if you really want to win me over, Little Debbie Pecan Rolls. I believe every day is an adventure and my life’s quote is “ Never frown, you never known who’s falling in love with your smile.”
